Vision for DHC The Vision document for district heating and cooling has been finalized and made public at the 34th Euroheat & Power Congress in Venice on 25-26 May 2009. Please refer to the Documentation section to download the Vision. The Vision sets out how district heating and cooling stakeholders see the development of their technology towards the future. It provides a tentative picture of how district heating and cooling systems will look like in their subsequent stages of development, what role they will play in the energy sector and society at large and why they are key elements for an efficient European energy system, both of today and of the future. Research Agenda A research agenda for district heating and cooling is being pre- The research agenda will establish research priorities for district heating and district cooling. More in particular, it will describe the research and innovation efforts needed to reach the goals of the Vision. |
