Dear visitor,

Welcome to the website of the DHC+ Technology Platform, an initiative dealing with research and innovation for district heating, district cooling and kindred tech-
nologies.

Though sometimes incompletely understood, DHC is an ideal energy infrastructure for areas with high density energy demands, in particular urban environments. DHC is already now able to deliver great benefits for the energy system; including lowering CO2 emissions, integration of renewables, reduction of primary energy input, but also stable and economic energy supply and pollution control.

Moreover, DHC shows great potential to be at the forefront in the transformation of the European energy sector towards a sustainable future. With the necessary innovations DHC will be able to offer European citizens an entirely carbon free indoor comfort by 2050 … and much more.

The task of this technology platform is to contribute to the realization of this technology’s potentials. As chairman of the platform, I invite all who share this vision to join hands with us.
Yes, DHC can.
